I was wondering if anyone can tell me the name of this painting? I've been looking all over the Internet for it, but I can't find it. Thanks!

I'm not sure what it's called but I think it might be by Paul Cezanne. Looking at the signature in the bottom left I am wrong! Can you point us at a higher resolution version?

I don't know. The signature looks like Claude Monet to me.

I can point to Monet ...

Goolgle a bit in pictures "Monet" and you can see it goes to the same style...

...although that particular painting doesn't seem to come up at all. I did a google search and the style is similar, but I couldn't find the actual thing itself.

Maybe others might have better luck than I did. What's it for anyway? You could take that picture to an art gallery and ask an expert or go to the library and look up some works by Monet or something.

Or it could be a fraud.

No, I just really wanted to know its name. I recently got back from a trip to Paris, and this painting was in a picture I had taken in the Musée d'Orsay. I knew that it was a Monet, but I couldn't remember its name. I spent way more time than I would of liked looking on the Internet at every Monet painting I could find, but with no luck. And then I thought, maybe the people at MacRumors can help. And, sure enough I got my answer in a few hours.

Anyways, thanks for the help eyelikeart!

I've been there. We took a trip to London, Paris, and Madrid (and Toledo) when I was a freshman in College. Good times. I bought a book from Musee d'Orsay. I would like to go back someday, now that I've actually had 4 art history classes. I was supposed to have one of them freshman year, but you know how wacky schedules get...and I took it the next year. Studying the masters then seeing the work would have been a better order methinks. Man, its been 5 years. Seems that long ago...
