I'm using a 500GB HD, I dont have enough space to back up my disk.

I just upgraded to 10.7 Lion and I wanna go back to Snow Leopard.

But I can install it with the orginal DVD.

Is there any solution to my issue?

    Thx!

No, you can't. You have to erase the disk.

Bit silly to install a beta on your main disk.

Now that you are stuck with a beta OS on your main machine, best get an external backup going ASAP in case anything happens.

Not that I should be picky, one should be developer to install the OS. You don't seem one.

Also, it's common sense to keep a TM backup.

What you should do is to partition the drive and install Snow Leopard again.

And simply copy the Applications and paste them into the your /Applications/ directory under the snow leopard partitions. And transfer other files in the same way. :|

No backup, and an illegally-obtained beta of an OS: a winning combination

Seriously, get yourself a backup hard drive. You have a 500GB internal disk; a 500GB external disk is $75 or less... spend the money!

Why wouldn't you? It's always possible to upgrade.

    Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/532.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0.5 Mobile/8B117 Safari/6531.22.7)

Ok., that's all I need to know.. So I can have the final lion release.. I love it!!

    Yes you can

Yes you can do it, I did it. Simply boot from the SL DVD (make sure its the full version) and simply do an install. You will be back on SL, thought there is one problem that I have discovered, I may be on 10.6.6 yet its still a mix with 10.7 Users library folder is hidden and some apps simply keep crashing.

To avoid such thing, you could create a new partition and install SL on it and then delete the old one, or simply erase the drive and install SL directly from scratch
