can i archive and install jag. i need protools and it doesnt work on panther... so i have to go back. do i have to delete everything or can i keep my files?

i'm not sure if you could do that... the only way to find out would be to try it i guess. you can always quit the installer if you can't do the 'archive & install' option.
you should also just have a look around the net and see if the manufacturer is releasing a update for Panther. i think there will be a heap of updates for different software coming out.
