We have had the yearly motor show in Canary Wharf (where I work) this week. Thought it was a great opportunity to get some nice high-res snaps of some great cars (& a few of the area, all will make great desktops!)

All full size images are about 2.3MB, and 2832x2128!!!!

I took a look round earlier in the week. Not bad. It's pretty similar to the last few years. I see you got a nice picture of our offices (although I don't work in that building yet).

p.s. Who do you work for in CW?

    AMAZING pics,

    Wish I was there.

I managed to sneak a peek at the new Mercedes SLR at the West-Vancouver Mercedes-Benz dealership when I picked up my CL coupe. Beauty!

    cheers for the pics!

I work for CitiGroup. Stuck in the city at the moment, but should be moving out in August.

The SLR is stunning, it was the only car Mercedes didn't put with the rest of the Mercs, they kept it in the show room
The Roller is just stunning in person, makes the Maybach look very dull.
Ok, cool. the CitiGroup building looks good, it's right outside my window now, and will still be when I move

I'm still not sure about the McMerc SLR... it looks tight enough, but the interior is pure tat, (even worse than the Aston Martin Vantage) and too cramped (that's allegedly the result of Mercedes filling the cabin up with sound proofing and reducing the interior space).

The Maybach is nasty... I love the front of the RR, but the side and rear profile are poorly executed. I think the VW Bentley Saloon will nail both when it's released. ;)

The new TVR looks evil though :D

'tis rather expenisve isn't it.... :p

it looks great, I'm just surprised the interior looks like it was designed and built by ALBA! :p

Even if I could blow that kind of dirty $$$ on a car, I'm not sure what I'd buy... certainly nothing like that, or a Ferrari... both would get key'd when parked that's for sure :p

There's always the Porsche Carrera Gt (also pictured), I think that's in the same £££ ball park.

I'm not a Banker! I'm a senior analyst programmer (basically I write custom applications for the back end of the banking). I'm sorry to say that I can't tell you how much I earn. My contract forbids me from discussing my salary with anyone! The phrase used by our bosses when they don't give us the pay rise we want is "competitive with the industry"! Safe to say I can't afford a Carrera GT, let alone the Merc.
