Cannot send mail

    I am new to the ipad.

    I receive email just fine but I get a message when I am on the email that says Cannot Send Mail. The connection to the outgoing server '' failed. Additional Outgoing Mail Servers can be configured in Setting > Mail, Contacts and Calendars.

    I do not know how to fix this.

    Has it ever worked? If so then try this:
    Go to Setting > Mail, Contacts and Calendars.
    Select your LIve account.
    Go to the outgoing mail server section.
    It should say or something like that. Not stmp or some weird thing.
    Select the smtp entry.

    Select the primary server which should be on.
    Make sure you have the user name and password filled in.
    Use SSL to off. (but you may have to try on).
    Authentication to password
    Server port to 587.
    Give it a try!
