RESOLVED

Backing up to an older Lacie external drive. Not USB. Formatted it and did full backup "Clone" with recovery partition. Tested backup and all ok and Lacie is bootable. I named the back up CCC Backup Trial. Dated 1/13/16. The first one I did failed and had the dot to the side in History. The second was fine and showed on main CCC page where my Image BU 4/20/16 is now. I created that as a new task thinking it would be a new fresh full image. But, it is only a backup of changes since the CCC Trial one was done. I actually had both backups showing in that main window. Now just the Image BU. I wanted to delete the failed backup with the red dot in History. But, it would not delete. Found out you can't delete them unless all backups are deleted. However the CCC Backup Trial showing in main window disappeared. I recently did two more backups "Clones" dated 4/20 and 5/3. Both incremental. I can still boot Lacie and see all my files plus new ones added since 1/13. In my one pic the Lacie HD is the one I am cloning to.

1. My concern is with only the Image BU 4/20/16 showing in main window and no original CCC Backup Trial showing, do I still have a full image to restore to my rMBP from the Lacie?

2. I may buy a new 2tb Lacie Porsche USB external like the one I have now and with a USB Hub. One will be for CCC and one is now using TM. Being on a Hub both should work fine to do what I want? Right?

3. If there may be issues with my original problem, should I wipe the Lacie and re-clone? Would I need to reformat Lacie.

Sorry pics didn't post the way I wanted.
