What is the data transfer rate of the cardbus interface used in the Aluminum G4 PowerBooks? Would an ATA cardbus adapter connected to an ATA hard drive (serial or parallel) match the data transfer rate of the Firewire 800 interface?

I am thinking about using a new cardbus adapter by Firewire Depot with my 1.25 GHz Alum. PB for video processing in iMovie:

in combination with their dual-bay Serial ATA external hard drive enclosure:

Isn't the cardbus transfer rate of all PowerBooks 480Mbps?
