Does anyone know how to record music from a cassette tape to an audio CD via a mac?

    Any help would be appriciated.

    Thanks.

does your mac have a mic in?
if you do, then use a dual end mini-jack.. plug on end into the mic, and the other into the cassette player line-out

You might need some software to record it from the line-in. I recommend Sound Studio by Felt Tip. But there's a stripped down, cheaper app called AudioX, I believe, that will accomplish the same thing, essentially.

Spark ME is a great program for this and it's FREE. Of course you need a line in on your computer. I am making a CD of a concert I did and Spark ME has great eq for removing tape hiss etc. It also has an easy way to make a CD playlist and burn the CD.
