Forget Crucial and get 2x1gig sticks from OWC. I always see unstable prices and overpriced RAM coming from the Crucial website.

Apple RAM upgrades must have the right specs in order to work efficiently. I don't know will that Omni Tech RAM work (should it work, there wouldn't be a noticeable speed bump on latency) but I'm still recommending RAM from OWC personally because they get it from Samsung, Apple's respected ex-supplier for memory. Plus it's only $270 vs. $300 you referred.

Can anyone confirm that the RAM in this link is the right RAM for a MacBook 2GHz (white)?

I live in UK you see... Cheers.

There was a KB article about specific RAM for the MacBook, but I've lost it. I'll look around and see if I can find it again.
