I just went to buy the album "We are pilots" by "shiny toy guns" and it is only $6.99...then I rememberd I had seen an album by Joshua Radin for $7.99 (at least I think I had), but when I searched for it just now it was $9.99..does Apple have unadvertised discounts on albums at times????

wow i didn't know they changed the prices like that! I knew the Shiny Toy Guns album was that price, but i figured most of the cheaper albums, mainly ones on labels like Victory, etc, were cheaper to just sell more.. not that they were temporary

They do occasionally do introductory pricing. And also they price albums at less than $9.99 if they have <10 songs... but it doesn't usually change that much, I thought.

Sometimes they make mistakes too. I picked up the Kiss Alive box set and an album by the Kronos Quartet each for $1.99.

There was a site linking to iTunes bargains, but I haven't seen it in a while.
