Typical Liberal - "Duh"
Except this is being released by an extrememly conservative group.
Guess what? An energy task force should have its eye on every bit of oil in the world, as well as the consumption projections for the entire world, as well as other energy sources. This is particularly true of larger reserves.
a line is crossed when it becomes government policy.
1. energy companies want iraq oil
2. energy companies, in secret, form basis of gov't policy
3. gov't attacks iraq on pre-emptive policy
4. coalition forces secure nearly 1000 wells and the oil ministry while turning up zero WMD
i was reprimanded severely, by many people, for questioning the WH motives about attacking iraq, especially when i mentioned the oil. it is absolutely disingenuous to claim w/ absolute certainty that there's zero conflict of interest and zero causality wrt the oil being a motive for the invasion/occupation.
Nice post; nice explanation as to why some of us were unabashadely against the war and why some of us questioned the WH's motives.
