I have loked at the new MBP and it is real expensive and I don't feel I get a big upgrade compared to a 2015 version. So I am thinking about picking up a 2015 15" version before they disappear.
What I want to be able to do that would be demanding is
1) 4k video editing
2) Play Civ VI

What would I need for this, is a MBP 2015 (15" or 13") enough?

Thanks

Civ VI is a beast. I'd suggest the 15" with the top end processor and the R9 M370X

Further to Blair's reply. If you want decent graphics and the ability to host multi-player games, then go with the 15" with the lot.
Civ 6 will run in strategic view on a 2013 MBA, but ultimately you want something with a 1GB discrete video card (or better for retina display) for smooth and full graphics.
Video editing of 4k is slightly less demanding than Civ 6, as you can get away with it on 2013 or later laptops (except the retina macbooks, which are basically overpriced toys for hipsters.)

I run Civ VI on a late-2013 MBP without too many issues. You'll be fine with the 2015 15".
