Is it just me or did apple add some new folders with Tiger? After install i have the following folders on my hard drive that i have never had before.

    bin (Mac OS9)
    ect (Mac OS9)
    Mach Kernel (Mac OS9)
    sbin (Mac OS9)
    OSInstall.mpkg.99D9OH1M
    OSInstall.mpkg.99QltBOl

In addition i have a Dev (Mac OS 9) and a system and library for (Mac OS 9). I figured that i should not delete these.

I didn't want the other ones if they are required but they look to be left over from the install. Doe's anyone else have these or know what they are?

    Thanks / Rob

interesting, i don't see those folders on my tiger install.. perhaps u could use spotlight to just delete em? i would figure they are just temp folders with temp files that are meaningless...
