Hmmm... their own link goes to a price of $500.

Still a lot, but that's custom computers for you.

It's $710 if you select all of the options, except the mouse.

looks like that's 500 just for system color only. Once you add on different colors for hinges, apple logo, palm rest, and button, it can go up to 710. Which, if you're bored, as I was, you can pick a color for every part of the mac, making the most ridunkulous looking mac ever. It's equally as fun to design your own shoes at converse's website.

K- now for me to go and be productive with something.

Such a non-sensical rip off in my book. But hey, some people are foolish enough to pay it, and more power to Colorware for reaping the benefits from those people!

Best thing to get ColorWare work done on would have been the white 3rd gen iPods or maybe the 12" ibooks. I seriously thought about a caution-yellow iPod one winter. You know, the yellow you would sue your neighbor over if he painted so much as a patio flowerpot that color. This year I came to my senses and settled for a caution-yellow Incase for my iPhone. :) I can stick it in a drawer when spring gets here...
