oh cool.

So it opens quicktime movies, has something to do with colour and Whirled and has a icon like a fan.

I got no idea.

Very interesting.

Finally, an application that allows the user to start up the Spinning Beachball of Death at any time. Great for switchers who are used to the Blue Screen and miss system crashes. Cool!

looks kinda fake, no?

I don't know.

that logo's quality looks too cartoonish for Apple. Aren't they all about realism and abstraction rather than caricature?

Apparently, it does exist -- but only in pre-7B74 builds.

Has it got anything to do with that patent Apple filed earlier in the year for a case design that could change colour or project something, maybe a movie?

Have no idea how it works, but perhaps the whirling effect is caused by heat/airflow in the machine?

In fact, I have no idea. Could be fun though.

Doesn't do anything???

If it opens QuickTime movies, how can you say it "doesn't do anything"???
Isn't opening QuickTime Movies doing something?

:D

ColorWhirled is a ColorSync sample application installed with the Developer Tools.

That is all.
