What is the difference in the combo update 10.4.7 and the normal one. The combe is bigger but else does it contain?

I think it contains all the other updates you have not installed yet in one bigger package.

a combo update is combining multiple updates into one update. such as if you were on 10.4.5 and 10.4.7 came out and you did the software update, 10.4.6 and 10.4.7 would be combined into one update.

Yeah, it has every update that has ever come out. So I could be running 10.4 and install the 10.4.7 combo updater and be up to date. Since it has all the updates it can help with problems associated with updating.

This approach also eliminates the issue in past versions of Windows where there are 95 updates to be run when Windows is installed.... :)
