Hey all - pretty new to Macs here and applescript. I hacked up a set of scripts based on stuff at Doug's site for folks in our small office to remotely control iTunes from their desk (mainly so we can "veto" certain tracks if we find them painful to listen to, or change the rating...)

But trying to put the complied scripts on our intranet is a problem - when you download the script (like "rate current track.app") it opens up Classic "Classic is starting..."

Saved in Script Editor as an Application. And when I open them in place on my desktop it works fine.

What do I have to do to make a .app file open right in the "non-classic" environment? I assume this has something to do with meta-data being lost... I tried making a ZIP and tryed saving as Script Bundle, no luck....

thanks for some help!
