Concert photography

I can't be the only photographer in these forums that does concert photography, right?

I want to see some of your best photos from shows around the world! I haven't seen a thread like this, so lets start one?


I'll start!

I tend to get really good family photos at shows. I took this one of Twiddle when they played in Denver most recently. Jaden Carlson (14 year old master guitarist) sat in for a few songs.

I, myself, don't have the balls to take my good camera to a show, so I just use my iPhone.

Took this one the other night of The Expendables in Denver. A tad out of focus, but it kinda works.

Fantastic photos. It fascinates me how you can get such amazing images when in a low light, fast moving, long reach situation.

How do you do it? I try to photograph my daughters at their birthday parties and I get rotten results nevermind grabbing my favourite bands from the cheap seats! :-(

Im more a Jazz / traditional music photographer myself but I liked the lightning available for the Black Foxy gig.
