Every now and then I meet someone who just blaps about a few things they have read on the ' internet' or saw a documentary or 2 about while ' some points are valid the whole argument is usually insane and too hard to believe (for me at least) Illuimanti, New World Order , ROTHSCHILD killed JFK and stirs trouble all over the world in those countries who do not have a central bank .. you know the rest

my take is if all of this info is supposedly out there why aren't more people afraid/ are more proactive ( assuming we have something to be afraid of in the first place) Illuminati , New World Order crap doesn't make any sense to me if that was the case why aren't they in control of the whole planet by now those elite folks?

I guess just a few things to keep a few folks busy and caught up

A world where random **** just happens is scary. A world where someone made this & that happen, is a world we can understand. Even when it's something bad, it's something we can fight against.

Yup. And people "blap". It's just what we do. Years ago it would have been based solely on what we heard and talked about. The internet is just a different way to do that.

As for the Illuminati, they don't control what I think, they don't control my emotions. They don't control me this morning as I sit at my computer and type this post.

    ... or DO they?

A few friends and I were talking about this the other day. We were talking about the government having antennas that control your thoughts or something like that. I dont know, I havent ever heard of this. It was something one of my friends brought up. The one who brought it up truly believes in this. One of my over friends was like thats BS, those antennas have never said "hey tucker, put the blunt down." I lost it. I was laughing for a good 10 minutes.

I do believe in some conspiracy theories. Yea, they might sound insane or whatnot but not impossible. They exist for a reason. Someone finds inconsistencies or false information and it blooms from there. There are so many theories its crazy. I dont believe in the Illuminati or NWO but I think theres more to some things than what has been given to us. I don't really take it serious because whatever you find, its pointless. Nobody would admit anything. It could possibly get you killed.

What do you think that control would entail?

Go to work ... pay your taxes ...

People have been doing that long before antennas, electricity and radio transmissions.

The only ones that I think could be real are the faking of the moon landing and the JFK assassination.

Hate to brake all the conspiracy nuts on the Internet but you all pay taxes every time you buy anything! Even now when you die you pay taxes, if you don't believe me just look it up.

I always said if you don't want to be tracked just dump your cell phone, pay in cash & get of the Internet. Then you most likely will not be tracked.

Not really. In many ways the moon landings led to the end of the Cold War.

I believe that the collapse of WTC 7 on 9/11 was a conspiracy. I won't comment on the the rest of the day, but WTC 7 was clearly a controlled demolition.

Please be assured, I mean no disrespect to anyone involved and/or lost in that day. I'm just pointing out that I feel certain that this one particular building did not collapse in the evening as a result of fires caused from the morning's events.

What I don't get: conspiracy theorists think that the government is rigidly controlled enough that they can get large swaths of people to engage in an act like causing 9/11 and keep the whole thing secret for decades and yet those same people think that people in government are so incompetent that they can't tie their own shoe laces.

If the government is the most tightly and efficiently controlled group in the history of the world that can accomplish anything it wishes, then you need to also admit that it can run something like health care like clockwork. You can't have it both ways.

So the rest of the day was a result of an attack and then someone else blew up WTC 7? How does that even work? Was it set to go and they got lucky and used the rest of the day for cover?

Many of my friends are conspiracy theory nuts. They thing FEMA death camps are real, and that "Obama is a muslin" (I wish that was a typo) and that Denvers airport is a time portal or something.

They're the type who could care less about facts and think they're more intelligent than everyone and have secret knowledge that Alex Jones shared with them.

No and I wish I hadn't brought it up because it opens a door that makes me seem insensitive. I grieve for the people who lost their lives there on 9/11. I lost a family member. What I'm saying is that I don't believe the story the government tells us regarding any of the buildings and planes. My point is that my distrust is most evident in WTC 7. To your point - it could not have been rigged for controlled demolition in mere hours. This was something planned for a long time and this country is a victim of that planning - whatever the motives were.

The collapse of WTC 7 does not pass my eye test. I know that it's been explained. I know people a lot smarter than me accept that explanation. But I still can't see how all the pieces fell into place to bring it down with such swiftness and symmetry.

That does not mean, however, that I believe there was a conspiracy behind it.

It simply means that I accept that something explainable exists outside of my ability to understand it. I'm sure there is an infinite amount of knowledge that occupies that same space—being beyond my ability to comprehend.

But for those who can grasp the collapse of WTC 7, please share with me what you consider the definitive explanation for it. I'll give another try at wrapping my brain around it.

Is progressive collapse that difficult to grasp?

You don't seem insensitive to me and I'm sorry for your loss. I was just curious why you thought only one of the building was part of a conspiracy but I'm thinking now I misunderstood. I think you're saying that one building was the most obvious one to be rigged. If that's what you mean, I disagree but understand. If not, well, still confused then.

Security in building 7 was no joke. I used to work in Staples one block away as a teen and deleivered office supplies to that building alot. They had security at every corner, hand scanners just to use the elevator, some areas even had retina scanners, plenty of turnstalls, and damn near every place was restricted unless you had security escort.

IMO, if any other way making building 7 come down had to be an inside job. The other building were pretty tight with security too, which is why the first attack happened in the parking garage and not on any main floors.

    It's working ;)

Personally, I don't like to go too deep into conspiracy theories because they're not something that I'm likely to ever know the truth about and because a lot of people who believe them come off as a bit nutty. I do find some things interesting such as aliens and the denver airport and would love to know more about them.

The CT'ers always focus on the wrong things. Ours and the CIA's involvement in destabilizing the Middle East is irrefutable. The part that most get wrong is the motive. Oil is not the motive. War is the motive. War for Profit.
