iPod "Convert this section to ACC" not showing up under Right Click Menu

Long story short, I am no longer given the option to convert any of my iTunes music into ACC. I am only given the option to convert the section to Apple Lossless.

I know I am probably missing something miniscule here, some obscure option in some obscure menu that I mistakingly changed.

If anyone here can provide any help, it would be appreciate.

problem solved:

my default encoder under the import setting (advanced tab) was set to apple lossless


The last cd I ripped was in lossless, so the option got changed.

I was starting to get all pouty and blame apple

That's just what I came here to say to check, but you beat me to it

If you normally import CDs as lossless, but occasionally want to export selected tracks as AAC, use the Convert and Export script.
