I don't know if everyone's already seen this, but I was reading MacWorld from the UK yesterday, and they had this really cool app called EarthDesk. It shows you a real-time image of the Earth on your desktop, and you can get a serial number for free from the mag here:

    http://macworld.co.uk/cd

    and using their code: MWUK27EDSKP4J5

It's the older version, but it still works awesome, go check it out! I'mm impressed by it.

This is evidently not the "coolest desktop app ever". I find your title to be very misleading.

That is evidently "your opinion". Maybe he thinks it's cool? I know I do! Great find!

I think it's pretty cool too actually.

    Why be rude?

Why do some people have to be rude when a fellow mac lover gets excited over some software? I think the app is cool too. I got something free like that with my new Mac. Kudos for the tip!

Well, I got the full version, that apparently also makes me breakfast in bed, which is why I thought it was the coolest thing ever. You probably accidentally downloaded the "Lite" version.

Agreed, but not the "Coolest desktop app ever!" in my humble opinion. :)
