New here 1st post. Just bought new Mac desktop and with my Mac mini I could always right click and copy and paste why can't I with this computer?

Welcome to the MR site :) *waves* And have fun with your new Mac hardware. I am sure you will love it.

Go to the Settings app and from there go to Mouse, or Trackpad, or whatever device you use for the right click. You can go learn gestures there, as well as set them to your preference.

Personally I don't like the default Magic Mouse, and I use the old fashioned MX Anywhere from Logitech.

But yes, you CAN right click on a selection and copy things, and right click elsewhere to paste that clipboard.
