the web browser runs very slow for me

i dont know why, i have decent internet speeds

is there something i can change to make the browser faster?

Couchsurfer Pro while not a great browser comes in a great software batch from aTV Flash/FireCore used to hack your ATV, great product can use your ATV as a browser, add extra hard drives, run boxee, and run many formats not normally functionally on the ATV. Awesome product if you want to get the most out of your Apple TV I have not regretted the 40 bucks I plunked down for the software!

What about the slowness of the browser

I cant even check out amazon.com
Because is so slow to load

My ISP runs way slower than yours about 10 down and 1 up on a good day but couchsurfer Pro still does fine speed wise, no hiccups. I got annoyed at the way you had to work with the bookmarks and now use Firefox on my ATV.

How do you use firefox on the atv

use Firefox through aTV Firecore Flash program, $40 added a 2TB harddrive to my 1st gen ATV use it as a browser and it will play mp4's, avi's, and alot more
use my ipod touch as a mouse/remote, check it out
