    Hi!

So i now have a macbook pro, however when digging (read clearing) around my room i found my old powerbook which has a broken graphics card (12" - so it is soldered to the mother board therefore i would need a new motherboard to fix it).
However i was thinking of using the dvd drive as a spare (i.e. get caddy).
though i was curious about the screen - it works.
What can i do with the screen or is it impossible to do anything?

    Any ideas?

    Many thanks

Weren't these the models where the graphics chips were bad soldered with cold joints, and you can fix it by sticking a penny between the case and the chip? If so, reheat the solder with a solder iron and the PowerBook should work fine again.
