I have an audio book on CD. When I try and import it to iTunes it comes in just like any other audio CD, as if it were music. How can I convert this so that iTunes sees it as an audio book and puts it in the right place and (most importently) keeps my place for me as iTunes does with books.

If this can't be done in iTunes perhaps there is some other software or somethng that is done to the file to mark it as a book not a song.

Use This, It makes the process really easy. I put together a bunch of audio books from seperate MP3 files and have had no problems so far.

I just recently got 250GB worth of Audiobooks:eek: from a colleague, one problem!
They all in MP3 format.:confused:

So I tried the hack of making my own AAC files blah blah blah - too much work!:mad:

If the Mac can do it on it's own - so be it!
I found brilliant tools on the Softpedia site.
They allow you to edit/split/add/create your own/bookmark etc etc etc

:apple:Audiobook Studio 3.0

:apple:Audiobook Builder 1.0.7

:apple:Audiobook Maker 0.1b

Hope this helps the Audiobook / AAC file converting renaming thing.
Come on guys, it's a Mac....:apple::):D:cool:
