Hey guys, I'm rather new to OSX and have a somewhat basic question.

First and foremost, I am using XtraFinder to get custom icons and colour icons to show up in my sidebar. Of course there is the similar SIMBL addon which does the same thing.

It seems that with Apple standard folders like Music, Movies .etc, the folder has one iconset and the sidebar has another. I understand that each ICNS file has 10 images at different resolutions but after looking through the icons in /System/Library/CoreServices/CoreTypes.bundle/Contents/Resources, I can see that there are actually separate iconsets for the sidebar and folder icon.

Is there a way for me as a user to similarly specify 2 iconsets for a folder whereby one will show up while browsing through my files on the right hand section of Finder and a sidebar icon which will show up if I make that folder a Favourite on the left sidebar?

Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks
    zambz
