    You'd have thought Powell would realize that his credibility is shot to pieces after his disgraceful performance at the UN last time.
    Two possibilities:
    1 The Bush administration and the CIA are both incompetent and incapable of learning anything from their mistakes. MI5 have probably got several people on the inside by now, but since the US Administration so cleverly blew their man Khan's cover last time, they probably don't feel too much like sharing.
    2 They don't WANT to know the facts, as they might get in the way of a good War.

    well i guess they're being smart by claiming to have faulty intelligence( ahem...) from the start...

    not that flawed intel has any bearing on this administration's actions or the majority of this country's view of the administration.

    its an orwellian wet dream.
