I just bought a 12 disk box set here
and when I inport the disks into itunes I get all japanese text.

Ahh.. so if anyone else is a mozart fan:

1: Its a great set. I recommend it.
    2. Your welcome. I just finished submitting the tracks for you. :)

Anyway, my real point for this post.. why is the info coming back in japanese? Wouldnt it come back in english, or not at all?

You haven't lived until you've heard Mozart in the original Japanese...

    Sounds like:

Aaak! Almost got me! It was General Chang I believe.

    :D

Of course not. Note my wording: "because he's really really old".

Meaning that even if we wasn't killed by F. Murray Abraham, he'd be just as dead - he is really really old. Besides, I think that' song would have killed him too.

Wow. My sense of humor is really strange tonight.

i haven't found a CD of mine that wasn't already entered in CDDB. i feel lucky :D

even if i did, though, it is so awesome compared to entering all the info all by myself on all my 150-odd CDs... ugh, i hate to think of how much extra time that would take. i love CDDB. and iTunes.

I'm assuming we're just perpetuating the joke at this point, but just to be clear, Mozart was NOT killed by F. Murray Abraham (the actor who played Antonio Salieri in "Amadeus"). No one is sure exactly how he died. The current theory is a trichinosis infection caused by bad pork cutlets. Not near as "romantic", huh? ;)

    Regards,
    Gus

    You sure?

I mean the man was old as heck in Star Trek Insurrection - you see all those facelifts he had? He could have been the one to kill Mozart.

    :D

Ok, I've got to stop this now. My ears are going to meet.

I wonder who it is who comes up with "theories" about how Mozart died. He was a brilliant composer and all, but REALLY! What good does it do?

But if you really want to know, he got knocked over the head with a really really big violin...No, and it wasn't F. Murray Abraham. That would be physically impossible.

    It F. Murray Abraham's great-great-great-great-great grandfather.

*Oh, how I love to partake in a stale, overbeaten, tired, useless sack of a joke.*

Thanks for abruptly changing the subject back to what it originally was. You saved a lot of people from a lot of stale jokes.

Unfortunately, you didn't get here soon enough, and several of us already caused irreparable damage. Too bad I'm not willing to rescind my previous post. ;)

No kidding! The digression this thread took should remain as a classic example of "Sh** That Shouldn't Happen!" for all the world to see.

That joke started out so tired that by the time we got done beating the horse of it, Elmer (of the glue) was getting angry!

Maybe we should start "6 Degrees of F. Murray Abraham" and see if he really did kill Mozart.

    Gus

Perhaps you could have simply pointed Gus to the advice that lies within your signature?

In fact, that's advice we could all probably take right about now. Arn! Mr. Anderson! Other mods! Where art thou?! Will you not close this thread and put it out of its misery?
