Pretty funny. I don't know anyone who would be offended really. I like to see the envelope pushed.

    Controversial!

Are they going to release it, or was this one of those adverts 'accidentally' leaked on the net?

Hahahahaha. I'd be surprised if they ever released it but very funny.

Interesting, tough enough to splat a suicide bomber over the insides of a Polo.

    too controversial

I don't think it is that funny.
The guy driving the car is wearing Arrafats signature scarf. So it's a direct hint at the hamas and at what's going on between the Palestinians and the Israelis.

The joke is good but I think this ad is too close to a very sad political situation.

Ups did not want to take this thread into politics

I sincerely doubt this is a real VW ad.

    It's in terrible taste.

This is a rotten ad for the influential mind(s), people copy what they see. Who know some ignorant teen might try this with a living pet, domestic or wild.

Hehe, I think that's pretty funny. I'm sure it's like the Ford Sportka ads, though, viral marketing only that VW will "deny" if/when it hits the mainstream media.

Of course they wouldn't release this, because it's too controversial, and it's implying that their car can withstand an explosion, which it obviously couldn't. Funny nonethless IMO. :p

I reckon it's probably real, but only as a viral campaign. Remember VW are more than willing to push the boundaries when it comes to viral campaigns, in '03 they had a viral for a diesel featuring a little girl who kept saying bollocks whenever she did something wrong, at the end it was revealed who she picked it up from. heheheheh

The girl was just so funny when she said "bollocks".

Funny, but I think the reaction from across the board would not be so funny. Unexpected at least, which is a nice change.

Sometimes the hummor is hidden on the rough reality of things.

It is good but some people may have a heart attack in Germany... well, times has changed, the world is not the same one...

It should be beside the Kat comercial tho
