Will probably turn out to be a backfire or car door slamming!

    A bit "gun shy" probably.

so, the sound was apparently a pneumatic tool and the gun sighting was likely that of a policeman. oops.

3 Dead in Capitol Hill Gunfight. Cover-up?

TomFlocco.com has posted a very interesting story about what happened
    at the Rayburn Office Building.

    http://www.tomflocco.com/fs/Feds3Dead.htm

Washington—May 31, 2006—TomFlocco.com—Bush administration officials operated Memorial Day weekend damage control to cover up the deaths of three foreign intelligence operatives—two British and one French—involved in a Friday morning shootout in the House of Representatives parking garage.

The altercation turned into an exchange of automatic weapons fire over a pouch containing evidence files documenting an operation to bomb the rail system along the Northeast corridor on Thursday—with the full knowledge of George W. Bush and British Prime Minister Tony Blair who was in Washington while the operation was being hatched.

Teams of U.S.-French alliance (AFA) operatives—including CIA, NSA and FBI agents committed to holding the Bush administration accountable for criminal activities—had been electronically monitoring a British agent who they determined to be the leader of a black ops bombing plot planned for the purpose of disrupting northeast rail traffic via a fake terrorist attack.

Federal agents revealed that a taxi cab left the Rayburn building parking garage with three body bags just after the shootout which was covered up by Capitol Hill police on instructions from Bush officials who were in contact with television executives and House/Senate leaders.

Is this guy for real?!?! The stuff he has on his website is amazing, I almost feel like the NSA is going to be knocking on my door just for looking at it.

It just has the feel of a John le Carre´ novel.

In no way do I vouch for the credibility of any of these sites, they're just what turned up. I'm sure there are a few out there who say he's the greatest thing since sliced bread

That Tom Flocco "expose" was interesting until they got to the part about arresting Tony Blair. Thanks to this administration, I'll believe a lot of intrigue, but I called BS on that.

Now -- from Corvus' third link:

This is either great satire, or Tom Flocco's critics are even nuttier than he is. :p

Apparently, we are in the midst of a wide spread disinfo war.

With so many bogus conspiracy theories, it makes it very difficult to
    separate fact from fiction.

Therefore attempting to make any claims of conspiracy look questionable.

    1) It was 4 in the morning and I wasn't reading as closely as I should have been. ;)
    2) Read my disclaimer ;) Several pages' worth of links came up in the search; I just picked out a few at random.

I have a sudden urge to go watch an episode of the X-files now.

Flocco may not have the facts straight, but an all day raid could have
been used to cover a black op for evidence.

Bush has quite openly enabled the obstruction of justice.

By calliing for a cooling off period EVERYONE has 45 days to clear any damaging evidence they may have.

Shredders will shred, accounts will be cleared, hard drives magnetized,
    and so on.

Then the guilty will circle their wagons and the smart one's will distance
    themselves as much as possible.

The FBI KNOWS that's what's really going on.

It's all just crazy enough to be real.
