I was just wondering how many people have experienced problems with dead pixels in the 15' PB when they order online from the apple website. Apple website only.

Try rubbing the dead pixel--don't be too gentle. The dead pixel on my iMac (17" flat panel) went away when I did this. It might come back, just keep trying.
As to how many people are getting dead pixels, can't help you. I ordered a G5
