Going with the Helvetica look...
Nothing special, I made myself a Bowtie theme in Helvetica (bottom right)

Probably change it for the holidays, at the moment I'm still in study/cram mode :)

HOLY CRAP...wonderful desktop, clean like my favorite typeface (which you should know from my viscous abuse of Helvetica Neue).

Wallpaper link please? Thanks in advance.

I'm feeling a bit homesick so I went with Chicago:

hey how do you get that time and date thing on your screen??

Geektool. See the link in the very first post. There's a very handy thread on this in the same sub-forum. Good luck!

Yep Geektool 3. And the MacRumors Geektool forum is awesome. Got everything From there (PM'ed a couple very helpful members for some help too).

I'm wondering, can anyone help me change my icons? I tried using candybar but got rather confused. Does candybar work when you download the free link, or do you need to pay for the full app to change your icons?

I read that you right click -> get info for the icon you want to use, click the image in the top left corner and hit cmd c, than click the icon you want to replace, click get into, and the click the icon in the top left and click cmd v. For some reason it won't work. I'm using SL if that makes a difference.

Yes u can do it that way but i found it to be a bit of a Pain in da a*s. U have to unlock it and make a read and write. Candybar is a way better process. U can pretty much do everything with the trial one. Try it.
