    Hi,

I currently own a mac pro 2009 with 24" LED Display.

Im changing systems and currently have my eye on the macbook pros maybe a 15" or 17" I was thinking about the iMac but not sure.

My main occupation is web design and I use Logic Pro a lot.

Can anyone give me their suggestions on what would be a good system, would there be any advantages/disadvantages of using a laptop. How would the mbp specs hold up with design and logic?

    Some input would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

Do you need portability? ANy other than Mac Pro will be a decrease in performance and in Logic, it's very important.

Keep your Mac Pro and save money towards MBP, don't sell your beast

It's still dual core so your Mac Pro (specs please) is at least twice as fast

What about an iMac 27" i7 that quad core yeh? Would that show in logic like it has 8 core like the Mac Pro?
