The latest version of server.app (v2.1.0) puts a GUI front-end to DHCP server. It seems that Apple now realises that at least some of us use their DHCP server!

It still doesn't have the reserved static mapping of SLS (you can set dynamic IPs to static, but that has to be within the DHCP pool, rather than a reserved pool).

But at least this is going in the right direction! :D

Thats great news. I was getting ready to upgrade a 10.6 server to 10.8 myself that uses DHCP. That said, the usage of it is questionable at best, as there are plenty of router devices on the network that could easily take over that role.

True enough, and that may have been Apple's reasoning for removing it. But I'd rather have all of my network seetings in one place for ease of administration and backup, rather than switching between server.app for some, and web/java-based solutions for others.

Adding RADIUS for non-AEB access points would be nice too!
