Does anyone know how to set up a postscript printer so that I can save quark layouts as pdf files? I'm sure I had to do it once before but can't remember exactly what I done. I think I changed something in control panel > printers but not sure what.

Do you have Acrobat Pro? Install that and it should sort everything out for you and put the Adobe PDF PPD into the Applications Support directory.

I guess you're using Quark 6.x? You should still be able to write PostScript with the Jaws RIP and also with other PPDs but they may not give the results you are looking for.
