    Hello.
I have Panther on my boot drive, and have a second hard drive with remnants of OS 9. Whenever I try to delete the final OS9 system folder it tells me that it cannot delete because it is a system folder. How do I get it off my second hard drive so it is free and clear?

    Thanks.

You could delete it via the terminal. Change directory to your second hard drive like this:
cd /Volumes/example where example is the name of your 2nd HD. Next type ls to see a list (make sure you are where you want to be) of the volume contents. If you see the System Folder and you want to delete it use this command:
    sudo rm -rf System Folder

The stuff in italics is what you want to type.
