I have a major crash and lost a bunch of pictures. After this long mess, I was able to recover most pics and I am starting over. My question is once I have downloaded photos, from an External Hard Drive to the new iPhoto which is on the same external hard drive, can I delete the photos on the hard drive? In other words will iPhoto save the pictures for me?
The reason I asked is there are some pictures that were on my old iPhoto that would not open because it said they could not find the source. I want to Make sure this does not happen again.
