Each time I reboot and sometimes when awakening, my desktop is locked for movement of icons, posting new files or folder, or deleting anything. I can right click and select Get Info and the window shows the Locked check box with a check. I can uncheck the box and then use the desktop again, but after a sleep or reboot it will be locked again.
