I have everyone at my company using Mozilla for web/mail, except for one Palm-addicted executive who would die if email addresses weren't in sync between her Palm/ & email client. Therefore, she is using, which is a nightmare for me (for reasons that are irrelevant to this post...)

I want to move her to Mozilla as well, or at least to Thunderbird (the stand-alone Mozilla mail client). The holdup is getting Mozilla to read from the Mac OS X database in real time.

There is a bug filed on this in bugzilla:

I've offered a one hundred US Dollar bounty to the first person who gets a satisfactory patch accepted for this bug. If you are a C/C++ developer, this should be straightforward as the AddressBook API is openly documented from Apple.

For the rest of you who aren't developers, please register with bugzilla and vote for that bug. Only vote, don't add a lot of 'me too' noise to the thread, please.

    Thank you!
