Wow... if this is true, combined with JackOff pleading guilty, there are a bunch of elected officials swilling the Pepto these days...
    Ouch.

You suppose they would have kept him quiet longer if they hadn't gotten what they needed?

    Couldn't imagine why.

I don't recall his name, but an analyst on (IIRC -- I was half asleep) NBC Nightly News said something to the effect of "this is perhaps the biggest scandal in the last 40 years"

    Which, JackOff, or Duke?

I'd think the JackOff scandal is the bigger of the two, but perhaps I'm wrong. Duke was in Congress himself after all...

Abramoff. But I just lump it all into one really big scandal, because it ultimately all stems from the same problem.

Yeah, the GOP's culture of corruption. Real conservatives should have steam coming out their ears right now.

    Oh, this is getting interesting!

Hopefully this, the Bush spying scandals and a few other things will conspire to form "the perfect storm" that will sweep these bozos out in November.

No, not steam. Just dripping with disgust.
GOP is infested right now. It is not the Republican party that should be. No sir, not at all.

Anyone else appreciate the irony of these people who are probably going down supporting Bush's illegal wiretapping?

Oh ILLEGAL wiretaps are ok. It's the LEGAL ones that shouldn't be allowed.

Something along those lines will be the new righty talking point I'm sure.

Well, I'm mostly black and white. My old avatar was like that. This thread could use some color.

And mac, sadly, I'll bet they'll try.
