Did Mac SSD interfaces standardize after 2013?

Did Mac SSD's interfaces standardize after 2013? Because OWC seem to be selling this adaptor
that will fit SSD's of "June 2013-Current Mac Models"?

From my own real experience, there seems to be at least half a dozen different proprietory Mac
SSD interfaces after June 2013?

Yes, the physical connector is the same from Mid 2013 onwards. The actual SSD is not, having different form factors and widely different performance.

What does your experience tell you?

actually you're right JTT.

I have various SSD adaptors here for 2013 but after double-checking they are all for early-2013 models.

Apple must have listened to the user feedback about all the interface craziness...
