I just woke up too. Got into searching new posts. Clicked on iGary's Gilligan thread. Nothing happened. Came back 5 minutes later. Error message appeared. Spent next 30 minutes refreshing like crazy, like it's some sort of a drug fix.

Thats normally what I do if it's down long enough. But fortunately I was eating dinner, most of the time it was down.

mad jew, I think it's clear that we stuck with the ship by being the only ones to find out that the forum was up and login before iGary did. Thus, when he looked at the list of online users, we were all there.

In fact, going by that theory, iGary didn't even stick with the ship necessarily, since everyone on that list was back online before him! :) :) :) hahahaha.

Was wondering about that too. I just got the message about the site being down. Played some Fable instead...

Edit: Nevermind. Didn't see tobefirst post.

Yeah, thanks tobefirst, but it just seems a little odd that different people managed to get connected to MacRumors so much sooner than others. I would have thought it'd be an all-or-nothing sort of process. Meh.

Not really "so much sooner..." The cutoff point was iGary logging in and seeing who beat him. Literally, I'm sure people "lost" by tenths of seconds.
