Is this the only way digg.com makes money or is there something else somewhere generating money?

I'm sure there's endorsements and other forms of advertising. If you watch Diggnation (the video pod cast), they have sponsors each week like Godaddy and Webex.

I assumed those were just for production costs and bandwidth. Also isn't the podcast revision3 not digg?

The podcast is a product of Rev3, yes, but it's about the top stories from digg.com throughout the week. Hence the name DIGGnation.
