I received an email from MOTU they have finally released DP8 for Windows 7 and 8 after announcing it at Winter NAMM 2012.
There is also a 30 day fully functioning demo available for both the Mac and Windows version. Only MP3 exporting, which is a brand new feature is disabled.
I bought DP6 a few years ago but I didn't have a very good experience with it.
Maybe I'll down load the demo and see if it's changed much.
