I love the trackpad scrolling on my PB, but I always find myself dragging my fingers at a slight angle, causing the browser to go back a page, sometimes two. It's a habit I can't seem to break, and I don't really care to navigate using the trackpad anyways, so is there anyway to disable JUST the navigation part of the trackpad controls?

I assume you're referring to firefox.. The solution to this is to set the horizontal scroll to actually horizontally scroll instead of go back and forth in history. go to the page "about:config" and set:
mousewheel.horizscroll.withnokey.action = 0
mousewheel.horizscroll.withnokey.numlines = 1
mousewheel.horizscroll.withnokey.sysnumlines = true

Enjoy :)
