I can't seem to get Verify Disk to work properly. I know my disk needs repairing, but it won't let me. This is the error I get:

    What can I do?????

Try running Disk Utility from your Mac OS X install CD/DVD.

Thanks, I did that and it works!

However, I also thought to run Hardware Test at the same time, and it's giving me an error:

    4SNS/1/40000000: 'Tm0P'

I tried disconnecting all external hardware as it suggested. I haven't modified the hardware at all, the RAM was all installed by Apple. What could this now be?

Looks like you are not the only one to have received this error

maybe you could PM one of the other users and discover what the problem/solution is...maybe?

Gah, not the best of days for me and my MBP. I woke up this morning after all that kerfuffle last night, and found my charger had melted. Got a replacement today and I'm hoping that Apple Care will refund the cost of a replacement charger.
