I feel this is an appropriate question in this thread. Do you shop at Wal Mart? Yes or No? Myself? I choose not to shop at Wal Mart, they might offer rock bottom prices and they are open 24/7. However, they are destroyers of small business, decent paying retail jobs, American manufacturing, main street, and standards. The other thing is, they don't offer clean stores, good service, quality goods or food, or decent service. Also, they leach taxpayer funded programs to subsidize their wages. Now, I respect that anyone has the right to shop at Wal mart. But I feel I am far to well informed to shop at Wal Mart. I can't give money to a company whose single purpose is to destroy main street, destroy small business, and take out mom and pop, even if it means selling at a loss. I am just picking out Wal Mart because they are the most viable, many other companies are guilty of the same crap. Wal Mart is still the worst offender. I understand that shopping at Mom and Pop stores only goes so far, but I would perfer to give my money to a small business or a regional business than a criminal outfit like Wal Mart. Also, have you ever SMELLED a Wal Mart? its not good Now I admit that I HAVE shopped at a Wal Mart before, last time being in 2009, we were on a job and needed another compact flash card in the middle of the night, Wal Mart was open, and they had a compact flash card that would work. ( Yes, Compact flash, the surveying cameras we were using often go for 80,000+ new, and 25,000+ used, so they don't get replaced until they fail ) Other than that I can count the number of times I've spent money in a Wal Mart on both hands. I think if more people knew what a leech Wal Mart was, they wouldn't shop at Wal mart. Plus they don't have quality food or goods.
