Man its been a long day. Ordered a hard drive from amazon that said it was compatible w my macbook air 13" a1304 (serial ending in 22E) but it turns out the drive they sent has the 40 pin connector, and i need the 24 pin connector.

I can't find these anywhere on ebay or amazon.

any ideas ???

Based on your model number a1304 you have a late 08, and it doesn't have a ZIF connector, it has a standard SATA connector... according to Everymac

So just get a 1.8in 5mm SATA SSD First hit on Amazon

I don't have one of these Laptops, but thought I would give your Question a Shot... hope this helps
