I just want to know if Apple have a trade in program for hardware, like trade in your old Mac for a newer model... that would be cool if thye offer a reasonable price of our old hardware... and is a good way to keep apple user stay with apple as well... something Intel, Microsoft nor AMD do good at...

They do not, but some resellers do. Like PowerMax. Although, occasionally you may get more by selling your old one on eBay. Be cool if they did though.

IIRC, Gateway tried something like this years ago. And, well... look at how they're doing.

What I want is the opposite. A place I can take a ****ty "beige box" PC clone that gives me a $500 credit towards a new Apple system... :D Now that's a switch campaign I can get behind!
