I know that this is a stupid question, but I'm not sure if my Macbook has a fan/or if my Macbook has a fan that works. It gets boiling and my Macbook is always silent.

Cheers for that mate, but already tried this. Is it cause I always have it on battery save mode?

The first week I had my macbook, I was wondering why I wasn't hearing a fan either!

Turns out it only comes on when I've been on the computer for a WHILE and the thing is REAL hot And even then, it revs way up and then dies off, running for maybe a total of a minute before going quiet again.
